How adorable are these Panda's !!!!! I'm going to Adelaide next year to visit family & the 2 Panda's at the Adelaide Zoo. Their is something about these bears I love, they look so cute and adorable I would love the opportunity one day to actually hold a baby Panda or give a large Panda a cuddle. We sell a lot of panda bears in the shop and Charlie Bears have a very big range. Charlie herself loves pandas so we see more and more being added to the range. They might not always be in black & white , but have some color ones to match collectors favourite colors or home furnishings.
While I was in Fiji I took the above book to read and surprised myself that I actually read it. I couldn't put it down.We sell quite a few of John Lamb's mystery books and they are really good. John himself was once a homicide dectective in USA and his wife a collector of Teddy Bears. Now he has retired he has combined his wives teddy bear making and teddy shows with his knowledge of detective work with writing novels. It makes a great combination and reading. If you are like me and enjoy a good murder mystery I highly recommend them. We sell the books in the shops and will be giving away some of the books in the raffle prizes we have for the Woodend Teddy Bear Show. We raise funds for Free The Bears Inc. through our raffles at the show and the money raised helps sponsor 2 bears Dewi & Brandy.
October 31st is the date for the Woodend Teddy Bear Show. This will be our 5th year and many more to follow. The show has a large following and we are expecting a record crowd this year. Teddy Bear Artist's travel from all parts of Victoria, NSW, SA, Queensland, Tasmania, WA and New Zealand to come every year and sell their beautifully made bears. We have a competition which sees entries from every state as well. A childrens poster competitiion and this year and we are having the Kyneton Brass Band playing music for us!! The Woodend CFA will be catering once again all home made cookies and goodies. So don;t miss this great event.
