I'm so excited i made a quilt. It has really been a long time since i have had the sewing machine out. I must say Michelle's Raggy Seams quilt did inspire me to have a go as all the instructions were in the kit. I choose a lovely flannel I have in the shop and as i wanted it for Daniels bed I had to make sure I had plenty of stars on it so he didn't release some of the colors had flowers on it!!! The stars are really fun to do. I made it on my Tuesday's and Sundays off. I was really pleased when Daniel was so excited about it. Now I have to make Ben a quilt but his will be in army colors. I washed the quilt str
aight away and put it in the dryer so the seams did really rag up!!!!! Tomorrow I will start to pack for the Craft & Quilt Fair we have some great samples of finished quilts, all Making Heirlooms quilts and patterns. Michelle and her partner Greg will be working on the stand Thursday & Friday. Michelle has a wonderful knowledge and background into every aspect of patchwork and quilting and will be only to pleased to help you. I'm working Saturday with Kerry and Carol who have also made some quilts. Kerry has made Teddy Tea Cups and Sew Busy Bears by Teddlywinks and Carol has helped put them together and also finish off some of my stitchery designs by putting a fabric border around them. Sunday it is just me, I'm a little worried it might get busy so if you happen to come on Sunday please come and say hello. I have pre cut up lots of packs for the Daisy Pattern and Raggy Seams quilt and loads of fat quarters. I'm sure I will forget something to take. Next time I post I hope to be able to give you a report on the show and some pictures.
